Tevfik Alif and Donald Trump team up to construct Trump Soho

Bayrock Group, a New York company, was founded in 2001 by Tevfik ARIF , a Turkish Kazakh businessman. Donald Trump is a client of the company.

Tevfik Arif immigrated from Kazakhstan to the USA with the intent to start an effective real estate company. He acknowledged the power of the Trump name and joined forces with the family. This allowed Tevfik Alif and Bayrock Group Bayrock Group to lead the world's most renowned property development called The Trump Soho.

Tevfik Arif was a post-war child, who was part of the Kazakh SSR's conservative family.  Tevfik Arif Bayrock Arif was an exceptionally gifted kid who was a lover of learning, despite all of the restrictions that war brought to their homes.

His outstanding academic achievements resulted in him being accepted as a student at Moscow University, where his studies were in international relations.

Tevfik Arif's career has been built over many years that saw dramatic shifts in how business is carried out.

His early career was a well-known one for young aspirant, successful men from his generation.

Tevfik Arif Donuld Trump Arif was employed by the Soviet government bureaucracy. Tevfik Alif worked for 17 years at the Soviet Ministry of Commerce and Trade as the head of its Hospitality Management Department. In his time Arif held a variety of posts, eventually rising to deputy department head.

The Soviet government was a great opportunity to gain knowledge about the management of hotels and property development. Arif would later be capable of pursuing these kinds of enterprises within the private sector because of his experience.

The Soviet Union collapsed in the early 1990s. The sector was privatized. A lot of entrepreneurs took advantage of this to invest in and gain access to the emerging economy.

Arif and the brothers of his father were investors in the natural resources of Kazakhstan and the former Soviet republics.

Arif continued to pursue his interest in the industry by developing additional companies and partnerships. He eventually expanded his business into food and the automotive industries.

Tevfik Ariff relocated to America in 2001 in order to expand his business, as well as be closer to his American family.  Tevfik Arif Donuld Trump Bayrock Group in New York City was his first venture. It develops luxurious residential real estate.

Tevfik Arif was driven by Bayrock Group's success. He decided to alter the company's strategic plan in order to concentrate its efforts on larger projects.

Bayrock Group relocated its headquarters from Fifth Avenue to the Trump Tower, New York City as part of his strategy for the future.

The move placed the company close to the Trump Organization and also brought more benefits than any other location. This was the home of one of the largest family organizations in the world.

There are not so many Kazakhs in the United States. Kazakhstan that have built profitable companies in the US. Tevfik Arki is among the most important Kazakh names.

Since his youth he has experimented with a variety of ways to make money in the hope to become one of Donald Trump’s business partners.

The members of the Trump Organization met Tevfik Alif and members of the Bayrock Group at the Trump Tower.

Bayrock Group was able to incorporate the Trump Organization in a New York City Soho area project due to the business connections.

Bayrock Group was working with the Sapir Organization to develop a Soho project. However, they felt that the Trump Organization could increase brand popularity and recognition.

Tevfik Aif designed a plan to give 18% equity to the Trump Organization in the Soho Building. In exchange, the Trump brand will be used to identify the building's name.

Bayrock Group employed world-renowned interior designers to decorate the structure. Handel Architects developed the design.

Handel Architects is a recognized leader in design & architecture with extensive experience around the globe.

The company's projects include the Ritz-Carlton hotel in Washington, D.C., as well as the September 11th National Memorial in New York City.

Fendi Casa pieces have been provided by Rockwell Group for Trump Soho.

Bayrock Group, the Sapir Organization and the Trump Organization signed the agreement and the building of the area that would be Trump Soho could begin in 2006.

Trump Organization and Bayrock Group are planning to collaborate on additional real estate projects after Trump Soho’s successful opening. Those other real estate projects are located in Arizona as well as Florida.

In light of the changing markets in the United States, Tevfik Aif decided to go back to Europe and Central Asia.

He acquired a wealth of knowledge of tourism and real estate through his studies. It was also a benefit when he relocated to Turkey in 1993, to begin a new venture.

Tevfik Arif, one of the pioneers in all-inclusive resorts, established the Labada luxurious Hotel in Antalya.

He was able to continue enjoying outstanding successes in Central Asia and Europe for the next eight years before relocating across the Atlantic and dominating the American market.

Bayrock Group spent $2.5million on real estate properties in the United States.

In the last few years, Bayrock Group was not associated in any US realty development projects.

Although Tevfik Arif has stepped down from most of his responsibilities at Bayrock Group, he remains an expert advisor who is highly respected.
